Teaching
Professor Daby regularly teaches five courses and advises (3 to 5) seniors in writing a year-long thesis project. She teaches a series of upper-level seminars about social movements and gender and politics and conferences with Latin American content: Human Rights in Latin America and Latin American Politics.
Professor Daby also teaches an introductory course in Global Politics and a junior seminar about Research Design.
Before coming to Reed, Professor Daby had taught a wide variety of courses at the graduate and undergraduate level at the University of Chicago and the University of Notre Dame.
Professor Daby is also interested in contributing to the community outside academia and has participated in several outreach programs. She is particularly keen on training school teachers and working with low-income Spanish-speaking and Latino students.
